GOOD strong defence, and good saves by Will Ingram ensured that Torridge?s efforts at scoring were thwarted. A header by Jake Ayris narrowly missed the goal, Torridge then retaliated with a goal.

Okehampton worked hard and took advantage of lots of chances but these were not translated into goals until the persistence of Jake Ayris paid off making the score 1-1. A penalty just before half time led to Torridge leading 2-1.

Okehampton started the second half in stronger form but a lucky break for Torridge led to a third goal.

Will Searle took a penalty for Okehampton shortly after, but the shot just went over the bar. Excellent defending gave Torridge little opportunity and the score changed to 3-2 after Jake Ayris scored from a penalty. Paul Winthorpe made another shot that went over the bar just before full time.
