IN a time of recession with rising fuel and food prices, how nice it is to live in a community that cares.
My son, Matthew, recently completed the Prince's Trust cycle ride from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society, the illness from which his mum suffers.
The support from everyone was overwhelming. My son and I would like to thank everyone for their support and the Taw River Inn, Sticklepath, where a sum of £465 was raised for this charity.
Hoping one day a cure is found for this illness that has taken a wife and mum from us.
