SUPPORTERS?of children's charity CHICKS have the chance to win up to £1,500 a week in a newly launched lottery.

The West Devon-based charity is offering supporters the chance to take part in its new lottery, from which all profits will go directly to help the work of Chicks in providing free respite breaks for disadvantaged children across the UK.

Entering the lottery costs £1 and each week 32 winners will be drawn at random with a first prize of £1,000, a second prize of £200 and 30 runners-up sharing a further £300.

Tom O'Connell, events and lottery fundraiser for CHICKS, said: This is a great way for people to support the work that we do.

'Not only do people have a much higher chance of winning than if they play the National Lottery, they also have the satisfaction of knowing that regardless of whether they win or not, they are helping disadvantaged children around the country.'

This year CHICKS is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Anyone over the age of 16 can take part in the lottery and people can register now to take part in the first draw which is on June 1. As an added incentive, the first 1,000 people to register will be entered into a prize draw to win a pair of CHICKS Ball tickets worth approximately £45 each.
