WOULD-BE car thieves were targeting unlocked vehicles parked in Okehampton overnight on Saturday to Sunday (April 28-29).

Police reported that three unlocked vehicles were entered and searched. ‘Very little was stolen, however, we would like to remind people to keep their cars locked and not to leave anything at all of value in your vehicles,’ said Sgt Pennie Channing of Okehampton Police.
