POLICE in Tavistock are appealing for witnesses after a 85-year-old lady was knocked to the ground by a reversing silver estate car in Morrisons car park at around 10.15am on Sunday (March 12).

The make and model of the car was not obtained, but it is believed it was parked in the first parent and child parking bay nearest the shop entrance.

The woman suffered minor injuries and was left shaken. Anyone with information, should call 101 and ask for PC 2785 Duggan-Swift.
