A RESIDENT of Bishopsmead in Tavistock has expressed concerns about a spate of vandalism following an incident which involved criminal damage to her car.

Last week resident Keeley Davy told the Times that her car tyres had been slashed and that she was ‘sick to death’ of the vandalism happening in the Bishopsmead estate.

Keeley said that her car was not the only one to have been criminally damaged in recent weeks and that neighbouring cars had also been targeted.

She said: ‘This is not the first time my car has had its tyres slashed, one person at the end of our road had also had their’s damaged. I am sick to death of the recurring vandalism.

‘It is also very concerning to think that there is somebody walking around with a sharp object — something sharp enough to slash tyres — it is a huge worry!

‘I don’t know who is behind it, but I have reported it to the police and hope that whoever is doing it is caught.’

Anyone with any information about the incident involving criminal damage in Bishopsmead is asked to contact police on 101, quoting crime reference number CR/016932/17.
