KELLY BRAY traffic was caught in gridock after a car collided with a telegraph pole.

The collision, on the A388 at Kelly Bray, near Callington, happened at around 6am on Tuesday morning (February 28).

At 8.40am it was reported that the road was blocked in both directions between Stoke Road and B3257, the road close to the Swingletree Inn.

Police said the area was heavily congested and a diverted route put in place. They also said that a male driver was been treated for shock but was not believed to have suffered any physical injuries.
