THE theft of scrap metal, attempted shoplifting and the theft of a damaged motorcycle feature in this week’s Tavistock area crimes.

• The driver’s side of a black Nissan had its rear tyre slashed while parked on Parkwood Road, Tavistock, between October 20 at 4pm and October 21 at 9.45am. Crime reference CR/091241/17.

• Scrap lead, left in the garden of a detached property on Deer Park Road, Tavistock, was stolen between October 17 at 6pm and October 22 at 11.30am. CR/091581/17.

• A large polytunnel at the side of Princetown Pavilion had its doorway and side panels damaged between October 18 at 9am and October 19 at noon. CR/092441/17.

• A red Yamaha motorcycle, which had been involved in a road accident and had been left at the side of the road near Milton Abbot, was stolen between 2pm and 6pm on October 24. The bike was wrapped with police tape when it was left. CR/092500/17.

• A man attempted to fill up a Co-op bag with perfumes in Superdrug, Tavistock, before he ran out of the building when security alarms rang, between 12.30pm and 12.45pm on October 27. CR/093116/17.
