FIREFIGHTERS?from Tavistock and Yelverton were busy at the weekend raising money for charity with their annual car wash.

The firefighters at Tavistock have expressed a big thank you to the kind members of the public who donated a fantastic amount of £466.00 and also to Fairway Furniture who allowed the crew to use their car park and supported the event throughout.

In Yelverton, firefighters were raising money for CLIC Sargent, which is their chosen charity this year, inspired by four-year-old leukaemia sufferer Elsa Kendall.
