Police seeking information after woman killed on quad bike in Sampford Courtenay

A 63-YEAR-OLD woman has died after her quad bike overturned at Sampford Courtenay on Monday, August 14.

Police are investigating the collision which happened on the B3215 at Appledore Hill around 6pm.

The rider sustained serious chest injuries and was taken to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. She died in the early hours of Tuesday, August 15.

Officers from the Serious Collisions Investigation Unit are investigating the circumstances of the incident and appealing for any witnesses to contact them via [email protected] or by phone on 101, quoting log number 0759 of 14/08/17.
