POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 13-year-old girl and her friend were approached by a man in his late 30s on Kilworthy Hill, Tavistock, between 3.15pm and 3.30pm on Monday, October 23.

The man, driving a small blue car, tried to engage the girls in conversation but when they did not respond the man was alleged to have taken a picture of the pair.

The man was described as white, in his late 30s with a scruffy and chubby appearance, wearing a yellow short sleeve polo shirt and brown beanie hat, with brown curly hair.
