POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an incident of arson on Roborough Down, Yelverton, between 4am and 4.45am on April 29. A vehicle was found by the fire service completely burnt out so that it could not be identified. Any witnesses to this crime should call 101 and quote crime reference number CR/036543/18.

A HANDBAG was stolen from a car while parked at Postbridge on April 28 between 3.30pm and 4.30pm. Entry was gained by smashing the window of the car. CR/036368/18.

A HANDBAG and other items were stolen from a car at Postbridge on April 29 between 4.05pm and 5.55pm. CR/036644/18.

ITEMS were stolen from the back seat of a car after entry was gained by smashing the rear nearside window between 3.30pm and 4.15pm on April 29 at Merrivale. CR/036612/18.

A MOBILE phone was stolen from a person while in the skate park in Tavistock on May 3 at 4.44pm. CR/038029/18.

RAILWAY sleepers were stolen from a garden in the rear of flats in Yelverton between April 27 at 7pm and April 29 at 11am. CR/036596/18.

l AT 11am on May 3, offenders selected items from Superdrug in Tavistock and left the shop without making payment. CR/037936/18.

POLICE are appealing for information on what appears to be a safe or filing cabinet (pictured) found dumped by the side of the road near Sheepstor last Thursday, May 3.

They believe it may have been stolen but have been unable to trace a crime report that tallies in the past month.
