FIREFIGHTERS from Yelverton rescued a horse that got stuck in a swimming pool at a house near Buckland Monachorum yesterday morning.

The crew were assisted by specialist appliances from Camels Head in Plymouth and Exmouth. Called out at 7.35am, they used specialist equipment to lift the horse out. The animal was uninjured.
