FAMILY tributes have been paid to the motorcyclist who died in an accident on the outskirts of Tavistock last Friday as he was named as Daryl Bramble from Plympton.

Police were contacted at around 12:40pm on Friday with reports of a collision on A386 at Parkwood Road.

Officers attended the scene along with paramedics and the Devon Air Ambulance, although Mr Bramble was pronounced dead at the scene, said a police spokesperson.

Forensic collision investigators were also at the scene and the road was closed for a number of hours while a specialist examination and recovery took place.

Police on Tuesday released a heartfelt tribute to the 32-year-old father of two from his family.

They said: ‘Daryl was a loving husband, son and father of two young children who lived in Plympton, Plymouth.

‘Daryl will be sadly missed. He was loved by everyone that knew him. He has left a massive void in everyone’s lives.’

His family have also expressed their gratitude and thanks to everyone who has contacted them offering help and condolences.

Officers from the roads policing team said they are continuing to investigate the collision.
