Driver seriously injured after Spreyton collision

A 67-YEAR-old man is in a serious condition after the car he was driving was involved in a road traffic collision in Spreyton on Tuesday, November 14.

Officers were notified at approximately 2.45pm to the collision on the A3124 outside Hollycombe Ford Cottage.

The car, a Peugeot 205 GTI, collided with a tree and then caught fire. As a result the driver sustained multiple injuries and is in a serious condition in Derriford Hospital.?A female passenger was also injured in the incident and was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.

Officers from the roads policing team are appealing for witnesses to the incident and ask for anyone with information to contact police via [email protected] or by calling 101 quoting 483 141117.
