TWO fire crews from Okehampton attended a report of a vehicle on fire on the A30 west bound between Drews Cottage and Sourton in the early hours of Monday morning.

The crews confirmed that an overturned vehicle up an embankment was well alight at around 1.30am. They got to work attempting to extinguish the blaze using breathing apparatus wearers and hose reel jets.

The fire was extinguished but the vehicle was left severely damaged.
