POLICE are appealing for information on latest incidents in the West Devon area:

A CAR parked in Bannawell Street in Tavistock suffered vandalism sometime between 5pm on Friday, October 19 and 9.30am on Saturday, October 20. Police said the paintwork was scraped. Any witnesses are asked to call the police on 101 quoting CR/97162/18.

DURING the hours of darkness on October 13, letters were scraped into the paintwork of a front door at a property in Bridestowe.

Similar damage occurred previously to a nearby van. Any information, contact 101 quoting crime reference CR/95476/18.

BETWEEN October 12 at 3.30pm and October 15 at 8am, unknown offenders entered the grounds of North Tawton Primary School and removed and damaged roof tiles and damaged various children’s toys and garden equipment. CR/95835/18.

ON October 8 on Pixon Lane in Tavistock, several people were issued with a cannabis warning after being found in possession of cannabis.

SOME young people entered McColl’s, Fore Street, Okehampton, on October 17 at 8.45am and selected items from the aisle and concealed it up their jackets before leaving without paying. The males are described as being between 15 to 17 and wearing dark grey hoodies, dark trainers, black trainers and carrying a black rucksack.

POLICE helicopters and drones were out in the Horrabridge area on Sunday after reports of a person missing in the area. Police were able to locate the missing female by aircraft on a raised plinth on the viaduct near Drake’s Trail. She was helped down and given medical support.
