A TAVISTOCK runner will be hoping he has more than one reason to celebrate when he turns 18 this Saturday. Former Tavistock College student Adam Holland, who now attends Duchy College at Stoke Climsland, is due to spend his birthday in Nottingham, running for Devon in the National Cross Country Championships, an event being broadcast on the Sky Sports Euro channel. The following week he is running for Cornwall Schools in Norfolk and the week after that, he is due to represent Duchy College at an event held at Loughborough University. Adam has also just received a boost in his running career ? the owners of Robins, the new clothes shop which has just opened in Market Street, have agreed to sponsor him. Adam?s parents said they were very grateful for the sponsorship deal and wished their son the best of luck in his birthday race.
