AT Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday there were 120 entries for the four ball better ball stableford.
This was the first competition of the new year on main greens due to the recent weather conditions.
Results: first, with an excellent 47 points, L Radnor and P Reynolds; second with 45 points, J Morey and Miss L Rolfe; third with 44 points, winning on the last 9, R McFarlane and S Rice.
On Sunday February 2 there is a three ball team stableford shotgun.
Start time is 9.30am, followed by the 2003 ladies? and gent?s captains? drive-in and the presentation of the 2002 trophy winners.
