Played in the lovely grounds of Bicton College, South Devon, Yelverton seconds travelled to play Exeter seconds in the Devon seconds C division.

Despite a useful 68 not out from Yelverton's Gerry Keene and a total of 155-7 it was well short of the target set by the young Exeter who scored 258-5.
