YELVERTON Golf Club veterans held a Texas scramble competition last week.

First, with 62.9 pts were John Greenwood, Roger Mechan and David Kiver.

Runners-up with with 64.7pts were Peter Taylor, Eric Bradshaw and Ray J Bennett while in third with 65.4pts were Alan Hoskin, Bob Nesbitt and Keith Marshall.
