A YELVERTON teenager made an impressive debut at his first 10k open water swim in Marazion last weekend.
Reece Worth, 16, of Yelverton (right), is part of the elite open water swimmers' programme.
The event, at the Human Race Festival of Sport, was Reece's first attempt at the 10k distance and he finished second out of 99 swimmers in a time of 2:23:30, only two minutes behind the winner, Andrew Horsfall-Turner of St Bede's Aquatic Club in East Sussex.
Reece will now continue to enter open water events throughout the UK.
