KELLY College's Victoria Moore competed in her first ever open water sprint triathlon held at Roadford Country Park and Lake near Launceston.  Victoria's multi sport training was put to good use by completing a 750m open water swim, followed by a 20km cycle finishing with a 5km run.  Victoria, aged 14, completed the swim in 12 mins 54 seconds, her cycle was 47mins 47seconds and her run was 32mins 25 seconds and with transitions included her final time was 1 hour 36 minutes 19 seconds.  The college congratulated Victoria who was awarded the junior championship for her effort.  It was a great start to this new venture for Victoria, who is now looking forward to her next event.
