THE Mount Kelly U11 girls battled it out with Blundell's and Exeter School in the Devon Schools' finals to win a place in prestigious regional competition in March.  

The girls competed well against Exeter School in a 0-0 draw.

In their next game Blundells started strongly against Mount Kelly but were denied by some superb saves from goalie and player of the match, Maddie Jones.  Eventually Blundell's went ahead with a hard strike from the top D.

In the second half Mount Kelly stepped up a gear and Pippi Harris scored a deserved equaliser but lost out on penalties. However, as Devon Schools' runners-up they qualified to represent Devon along with Blundells.
