SETTING off from Devon early in the morning, a group of sixth form students from Shebbear College enjoyed an exciting day trip to watch a varsity rugby match at Twickenham.

Students Sarah Penny, Hope Brown and Alice Cowan-Dickie soaked up the atmosphere at the home of English rugby where Cambridge University took on their Oxford rivals.

They said: 'As we neared Twickenham you could really feel the excitement in the minibus. 'Once arriving it was clear that it was going to be a good match.'

They were not disappointed with Oxford beating Cambridge 26-19.
