FOURTEEN members of Tavistock Triathlon Club took part in the Bude Shoreline Triathlon earlier this month.

It was a deep water start in the sea at Summerleaze Bay and a 500 metre swim before running up the beach to transition. The 11 mile cycle took the coast road past Widemouth Bay before heading back to Bude then ending with the three-mile run along the canal path. Everyone did extremely well on one of the hottest days of the year so far and TTC had some podium finishers.
