MEMBERS of the Tavistock Triathlon Club took part in the annual Postal Swim at Kelly College — participants swim, in their local pool, as far as they can in one hour, the results — prizes are given out in age groups around the UK.

The distances completed: Liz Vernon 3,600 metres, Colin Fraser 3,265m, Nicky Deane-Simmons 3,250m, Mike Gray 3,245m, Brian Wilson 3,031m, Lindsay Hobbs 2,925m, Sam Mitchell 2,722m, Helen de Burton 2,668m, Chris Garner, 2,550m, Kirsty Trotter, 2,500m and Janet Hopkinson, 2,045m.

The club is holding two, 18+ years, 'triathlon taster' sessions on Saturdays April 21 and May 5 from 1-4pm at Tavistock College.
