IT was a busy bank holiday weekend for Tavistock Triathlon Club with members racing in France and Cornwall.

Hannah Worth produced an amazing effort to complete Ironman Vichy in France in 11 hours 47 minutes 34 seconds and finish ninth place in her age group.

It was a tough day out for her with lots of climbing on the bike in hot conditions which still saw Hannah produce a personal best.

A bit closer to home, a contingent from the club took on the local Bodmin Sprint Tri. Hannah Smith recorded a 1.34.40, Imogen Ellis finished in 1.41.20, Linda Pollard got 1.41.37 (and finished second in her category), Laura Evenden recorded 1.50.29 and Lucy Gardner brought it home in 1.56.29.

It was a really solid day out for the club again in hot conditions.
