COTEHELE Quay entered three squads into the Newquay Ladies' Championships held annually. A total of 96 boats took part this year, with 16 heats of 6 gigs in the first round. The first two, plus the 16 fastest, went through to round two. Cotehele Ladies A came in third, B fourth and C third in their heats and had to wait to see if they qualified as fastest finishers. Ladies B and C did not make it through but Ladies A qualified as sixth fastest finishers and went through to round two. As they came fifth in their heat they did not qualify for the semi-finals.
