WEST Devon's Heather Fell was one of three members of Great Britain's women's team gold at the the Modern Pentathlon World Championships in Rome on Saturday.
Heather, who won silver at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, came overall 15th with 5,200 points, just above team mate Freyja Prentice on 5180pts. Heather battled in the run/shoot to climb from 20th.
There was better news from their two other team mates - Mhairi Spence achieved the London 2012 Olympic qualifying standard in style by winning gold with 5.484pts and Samantha Murray a bronze with 5,452pts.
Spence and Murray, joined forces with Heather Fell to win team gold to take the team's medal tally at the championships.
So far three British women - Prentice, Spence and Murray - have achieved the 2012 Olympic standard to date with only two athletes per gender per nation can compete in the pentathlon at the London Games.
