Tamar and Tavy Gig Club and and local rivals Cotehele Quay enjoyed an Easter Bonnet row on Monday.

Despite strong winds and low temperatures rowers competed in barbarian races wearing an array of colourful bonnets.

The crews were a mixture of both clubs. As always, when you get a bunch of gig rowers together, races were hotly contested with some skulduggery from one or two coxes.

It was a great chance for some new rowers to experience a race. Afterwards rowers were able to warm up by the bonfire and barbecue and a good morning was enjoyed by all.
