THE Tamar Valley Pool League held their annual presentation evening on Saturday at the Victoria Social Club in Bere Alston.

The evening’s proceedings were compered by league chairman Darren Bishop and newly appointed secretary Matthew Miller. Trophies were awarded for more than 20 categories for individuals and teams, culminating with Premier division winners Yorkie Wanderers from Tavistock’s Duke of York.

The league, sponsored by Rocket Removals, is now looking forward to their new season of Blackball pool which starts on October 15 and will be played on Monday evenings.
