ON Saturday  the junior section from Tavistock Athletic Club represented Devon at the regional at Torbay.

Eleven of its juniors went with the under 11 boys winning and the U13 girls coming second. The U15 girls won with Jenny Milburn and Sarah Bull and qualifying for a competition in Manchester in April.

On Sunday TAC juniors had its fourth sportshall of the season and 22 athletes went to Plymouth Life Centre and competed. They all did well with Lee Shipton earning a personal best of 6.52 metres, nearly a metre than his previous PB.

TAC now lay fourth in the league on 544 point behind Torbay. The final sportshall for the season is on March 13 in Dawlish.
