OKEHAMPTON Running Club's Sue Walker added another silver medal to her collection at the National Duathlon Championship held at Emberton Park near Milton Keynes.

She returned to the standard distance for the first time in two years and won the silver medal in the 40-44 age group category. Her times were 40 minutes 06 seconds in the 10 kilometre run; 1 hours 13 mins 10 secs in the 40k bike ride and 23 minutes 01 secs in the 5.2k run).

The gold medal was won by former elite athlete Esther Evans. Earlier in the year Sue took the silver medal for female 40-44 at the World Duathlon Championships in Spain.
