TAVISTOCK junior triathlete Pete Jarman was in action again at the last in the aquathlon series run by Exeter Triathlon Club.

The final event was held at Exeter University and despite a bleak forcast the weather on the day was sunny for the competitors and spectators.

Pete had to swim 600m in the open air pool followed by a quick transition into his running kit, and then run 5km around the university.  He had a great race finishing in a time of 31 minutes 24 seconds, and took first place in the male youth (15-16) category.  Pete finished the series with three wins in his age group and came 14th in the male rankings.

Pete, a student at Tavistock College, trains with Tavistock Athletic Club and Tavistock Swim Club.  Pete competed on behalf of Plymouth Triathlon Club.
