The Weir Quay Sailing Club 2015 dinghy season ended on a high note after an exciting last race on the Tamar.  

The social evening held in the Bere Ferrers Hall was was marked with the presentation of prizes by Commodore Jim Barnes.

Thanks were given to the team who ensure the success of the Friday night training sessions through the summer, especially Steve Kirby at the helm, assisted principally this year by James Platts, Allan Seward, Julie Platts, Chris Coomber, Matt Newton, Sue Coomber and Rob Kirby.

The Friday evening sailing sessions continued unabated for all 26 weeks with 66 different sailors involved.

Thanks were given to the ‘pit-stop’ team of shore-based screw drivers, led by Ian Kilpatrick.
