THE 27th Annual Bere Peninsula Charity Ride took place on Sunday. 

A number of Spooners and West Dartmoor Pony Club members took part riding various distances of five, 10 or 15 miles. 

Riding the five mile ‘Robin’ were young Ellie Blamey, Lauren Blamey, Megan and  May Griffiths with Tash Daniel all from Bere Alston.  They were accompanied by their parents on foot which made it a real ‘family affair’.
