THE Devon and Exmoor Sheepdog Society held its Ashwater Trial at Sanduck Cross Farm.

First in the MX class was John Carter of Delabole with his bitch Queen on 73 points; second was Jed Watson, Postbridge with Jim on 72.

The judge was Jane Harper of Jacobstowe.

In the novice first was Jed Watson of Postbridge with Shep on 86 and second Mark Hopper, Veryan with Zac on 81.

The judge was Ruth Passmore of Okehampton.  

In the open the winner was Bill Evans of Beaworthy, with Sanduck Mirk on 91; second was Jed Watson with Taff on 90; fourth was Bob Watson of North Tawton with Jay on 89.
