Kelly College had teams qualify for all the events at this year's annual team champion-ships for secondary schools.

Due to illness, the girls' intermediate teams had to withdraw, but the girls' and boys' junior and senior teams and the boys intermediate team travelled to Coventry Sports and Leisure Centre for the Championships.

The girls' freestyle team of Chloe Barrow, Cara Layden, Christy Gold and Jemma Layden came fourth overall in the heats with a time of 1 minute 57.20 seconds and, although they improved to a 1.56.61 in the final, they still remained fourth. The medley team of Georgia Jones, Christy Gold, Chloe Barrow and Cara Layden qualified for the final in third place in 2.10.56 and the girls held onto that place in the final with a 2.10.64, taking the bronze medal.

The boys' freestyle team of Taku Chaza, Harry Turner, Ben Staig and Robbie Nielsen went into the final in fourth place, 1.53.40, and retained that place in the final with a slight improvement of time 1.53.07.

The boys' medley team of Ben Staig, Taku Chaza, Tom Brew and Robbie Nielsen also qualified in fourth place for the final with 2.08.14. A slight improvement on their time, 2.08.02, in the final secured them the bronze medal.

In the intermediate boys Harry Wardle, Will Luckham-Down, Nikita Ivanov and Toby Stanyer competed in the freestyle and medley teams for the Intermediate Boys, not making the final of the freestyle, but placing sixth in the medley with 1.59.91 and then with a 2.00.40 in the final ending up in seventh place.

In the seniors the girls team were Stephanie Reynolds, Bethan Davie, Milly Furneaux and Polly White. The freestyle event the girls were sixth fastest into the final in a 1.57.37, which with a slight improvement to 1.56.41 in the final saw the girls finish up fifth. Their moment of glory though came in the medley relay where they qualified in third in 2.08.45 and made a substantial improvement, 2.06.71, to bring home the silver medal.

The boys' freestyle team of David Colley, Russell Oliver, Tom McLagan and Matthew Courtis just failed to make the final and were first reserves. However the medley team of Ollie Willis, Laker Wong, Russell Oliver and Tom McLagan swam to 1.55.48 and fifth fastest into the final where they improved slightly on their time with a 1.55.10 which enabled them to take the bronze medal.

Overall Kelly won one silver and three bronze medals, all in the medley relays.
