YELVERTON Golf Club ladies held a number of competition this month.

The winner of Stableford division one was Mair Preston-Jones, with 32 points and runner up  Helen Harris on 29. In division two Glenda Thompson on 27 pts (back 9), runner-up Denise Wills, 27.

The winner of the Salz Trophy, a 36 hole competition over two days, was Mair Preston-Jones with scores of 32+29 = 61; runner-up and the Emerson cup,  Helen Harris with scores of 29+30 = 59.

On Thursday, October 25 in the October medal and re-arranged Eveline West competition.

Division one was won by Di Reardon on 77 nett, runner-up was Caroline Theyer, 78 net; division two winner and winner of Eveline West Cup Kay Creaven, 74 nett, runner-up Angela Read 76 nett.
