AS part of the Peter Tavy Jubilee celebrations a special run has been organised to raise money for two local charities.

The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Trail Run on Monday, June 4, is a five miler from the village and out along the trail to the ancient Langstone on Dartmoor.

It starts and finishes at the 15th century Peter Tavy Inn with post race refreshments and presentations in the beer garden. All profits will be split between Devon Air Ambulance and Wingletang Animal Rescue.

Entry fee is £6 (£8 on the day). There will be prizes for the overall male/female winners and first male veteran aged 40 plus and female vet 35 plus.
