MANY congratulations to young rugby player Zac Gorton, from Yelverton, who represented the Welsh Exiles U16s on Sunday at Eirias Park Stadium in North Wales.

The 15 year-old played against U16s RGC North Wales and was one of only 24 players chosen on that day throughout the whole of England. 

Zac expressed a a ‘big thank you’ to Tavistock Rugby FC for all their development and support of him since he started playing for them at the age of 9. 

He now attends Callington Community College and has just joined Plymouth Albion RFC Academy and is now part of the Welsh Exiles Player Development Programme.
