AS part of a nationwide campaign orchestrated by the Royal Yachting Association, Weir Quay Sailing Club will be participating in the 'Push the Boat Out ' campaign this weekend, May 18 and 19.

The aim is to introduce more people to the sport ,and get reticent sailors back to the water.

High tide on Saturday and Sunday is around midday.

The club will be holding a barbecue at Weir Quay and providing a number of dinghies and small cruisers for short trips on the River Tamar. The postcode for the club is PL20 7BS.

Events start at 11am and run until 2pm.
