THE rain and wind did not stop members of Okehampton Running Club going racing and a good turnout of members took part in the nearby Drogo 10, and further afield at the Cornish Marathon and the Plymouth 10K.

At Drewsteignton in the Drogo 10 Jeremy Tandy was the first from the club over the line with Mary Moore the first ORC lady to finish. Merv Rice put in a good run to win the MV60 category.

Charlie Galley put in a great run at the Cornish Marathon to lead the ORC runners home on this tough course and there were good times from Rob Kelly and Chris Turner. Sarah Marshall was pleased to get a personal best at the Plymouth 10K. The previous week there were seven runners representing ORC at the Frank Elford Westward Cross Country League.
