OKEHAMPTON Smallbore Rifle Club was well represented in all disciplines when it came to medals and trophies in the summer in Devon shooting leagues.

The Devon Benchrest Summer League saw Adrian Hasall take 10th position in division two, with Chris Gosnay taking eighth place in division three, and Dave Pote gaining the top spot in division six.

The Exeter and District Summer League Prone Rifle discipline saw Paul Batten coming second in division one, with Graham Spier also taking runner-up spot in division four.

In the Exeter and District light sport rifle category, OSRC’s Dave Pote has received a trophy for coming first in division 15.

Congratulations to Sharon Bartlett and Paul Batten, for winning NSRA Eley competition gold medals, for 20 yard pistol and 25 yard prone rifle respectively.

The DCSRA 10m Open Air pistol and rifle competition held at Okehampton rifle club last month was a well supported event . Oke members enjoying success were Leon and Richard Elliott, both taking wins in class C, and Anne Marie Meaker and Bernard Rendle class D. 

Okehampton SRC members have now turned their sights on the winter leagues.
