A?SUCCESSFUL Ladies' Charity lunch and bowls inspired the Yelverton men to hold their own in aid of Devon Air Ambulance. Nick Capel, pictured seated second left, organised a lunch and afternoon of indoor target bowls and golf in the clubhouse, as the weather was inclement. A quiz was also staged, set by task-master Maurice Hellier, which tested the grey matter. The overall winner was Dick Seeley. The happy group, pictured right, raised £168, which is to be donated to the Devon Air Ambulance Fund, Nick's chosen charity, and the event is now to become an annual fixture.
