COTEHELE Quay Gig Club competed in the mixed and vets championships earlier this month in Saltash.

The junior squad did superbly well with one crew winning the plate race by a long way and its other crew coming third.

One of the club's mixed crews just lost out on a first place in the plate final by a tiny margin, another crew got through to the quarter finals and the third crew got through to the quarter finals of the plate.

The ladies' veterans' team also did very well coming just behind the final group.
