OKEHAMPTON Argyle's first team match against high flying Galmpton United in the South West Peninsula League had to be postponed on Saturday when a late downpour waterlogged the pitch.

As both teams were without a game this coming weekend, the match will now be played this Saturday at Simmons Park, Okehampton with a 3pm kick-off.

ARGYLE Reserves were involved in a back to back fixture away at league leaders Dolphin who they had beaten 3-2 at Simmons Park the previous week.

This time the champions elect showed their class and ran out 3-1 winners, although Argyle held their own in the first half and came back to draw level at half-time after Brad Ausden latched on to a defensive mistake to drill home an equaliser.

However, the home side were too strong for Argyle in the second half and ran out deserved winners.
