Mount Kelly plays host in cup runs

MOUNT Kelly School hosted the first round of the English Schools Cross Country Cup last week.

It is a team event that included 15 schools from Devon ad Cornwall. Just under 200 pupils from the different schools competed, attempting to progress to the regional round. The schools that competed were: Bodmin College; Fowey Community College; Helston Community College; Ivybridge Community College; St Joseph’s; Newquay Tretherras; Penryn; Plymouth; Pool Academy; Plymouth College; Great Torrington; Penair, Truro High School; Truro; Wadebridge and Mount Kelly.

RESULTS: Inter team girls, Plymouth College; inter team boys, Truro School; junior team girls, Ivybridge Community College and junior team boys, winners Penair School.
