THE Mount House won the Plate Competition at the Port Regis seven-a-side rugby tournament in Dorset.

After losing to Millfield and Kingswood in their final pool match they beat Sidcot 27-5, to qualify for the plate competition.

Wins against Hazlegrove and Colston saw them earn a plate final spot against Moulsford.

Tries from Lopes, Partington (2) and Will Stone led to the West Devon side winning 24-7.
